What is the dress code?

Our wedding will be garden formal. We encourage you to embrace color, florals, pastels, and vibrant tones are all welcome! Since the event will have outdoor elements, you may also want to choose footwear that’s comfortable for grass or uneven surfaces.

Children are welcome only if they are specifically listed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be indoors. Please dress accordingly, keeping in mind the outdoor setting for the ceremony.

Will transportation/ shuttle service be provided?
Answer
There’s parking on-site, but we recommend carpooling or using Uber/Lyft, so everyone can celebrate without worrying about driving!

How do I get to the venue from the airport?
Answer
If you’re flying in, we recommend Norfolk International Airport (ORF) in Virginia. From there, it’s about a 1.5-hour drive to the Outer Banks

We kindly ask that you leave photos and videos to the professionals and keep phones silenced and put away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present in the moment.

What should I do if I have accessibility needs?
Answer
Both the ceremony and reception are at the same location, with a short walkway between them. Parking is located directly beside the pavilion and includes handicapped parking. Please let us know if we can assist in any way, we’re happy to help!

What’s the weather plan if it’s an outdoor wedding?
Answer
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll move the ceremony inside the pavilion—rain or shine, we’re getting married!
