Kayla and Niko owe their first meeting to Kayla's cousin Chris, who also happens to be one of Niko's friends (and the reason they made him their officiant!). Chris organized a night out at The Guild Brewery, and Niko was the last to arrive. Scanning the group, Niko made his way toward the friends he knew- right where Kayla happened to be sitting. The table was full, but without hesitation, Kayla pulled up an extra chair so he could sit beside her. That small act turned out to be the beginning of something big.
