Maid of Honor
Nicole and I go way back, all the way to the Lakeshore dorms circa 2010. This girl has been my partner in crime for so long that I almost don't remember why we say half the things we do! We've laughed, cried, and travelled to several states and countries together. She always knows where my lost phone is and prioritizes cheese curds over P90X. Nicole is the ying to my yang, the detailed planner to my spontaneous chaos, and I cannot think of anyone else better suited to stand by my side as I walk down the aisle!
Best Man
Nick and I go way back to my junior year in high school when I sold him a truck, and he got me with it!
Matron of Honor
I met Steph when, by chance, a much coveted spot opened on her volleyball team. Despite my limited athletic ability, Captain Steph welcomed me to the team, and we soon found we had so much in common that we were surprised we hadn't met earlier! Since then we've lived together, fostered puppies together (very small thank you to the landlord for this), and frequented way too many Mexican restaurants together. Steph always knows the perfect thing to say, no matter what the situation, and she is always down for an adventure. I am so thankful to have her by my side for my next big adventure!
Best Man
Kevin and I met a few years ago when we just kept running into each other and finally just became great friends!
Bridesmaid
It was probably fate that two of the least athletic freshmen at Fondy High ended up in the same 8am gym class. Instantly bonded by our dislike, it turned out that we actually had quite a few things in common: an appreciation for art, the gift of gab, and a love for Culvers. I am so thankful to have stayed in touch with this bestie despite many moves and many cities! I couldn't say 'I do' without you, Nancy!
Groomsman
Chase and I go back to almost middle school when my parents had to pay him to hang out with me. Or so he always said.
Bridesmaid
Rachel and I met in an Elementary Education math class and bonded over all things non-math related! Together we kept the streets of Madison safer through our very serious (and not made up) jobs as SAFEwalkers and have attended several sober concerts of actual and wannabe country artists. As much as I enjoyed travelling to visit Rachel in Mexico, I am selfishly glad to have her back in Wisco and thankful to have her by my side this summer!
Groomsman
Alex and I are neighbors and besties from way back in sixth grade, and we’re still coworkers today.
Bridesmaid
Carly and I met in high school where we spent a lot of time on stage performing in different musicals, madrigals, and choirs together! Even though it has been a while since we've lived in the same city, we have managed to keep in touch, and it always seems to feel like no time has passed at all! Carly is definitely the organized friend who is always prepared for anything, and I am so grateful to have her help and expertise in preparing for the big day!
Groomsman
John and I go way back to longer than I can even remember. I always wanted to be cool like my big bro one day.
Bridesmaid
Liz and I may have grown up in Fond du Lac, but our friendship has travelled far since then! The youngins probably won't believe us, but we went to an Ed Sheeran concert for like $30 before Ed Sheeran was cool. We've been to ice bars in Milwaukee, Brewer games at Miller Park, and all things inbetween! Liz is a friend who always shows up, and is always a fun time. I can't wait to celebrate becoming Mrs. Mender with you!
Groomsman
Little Danny I watched grow up before my eyes and can’t believe what a great young man he has become. I am honored to have him walking in my wedding.
Bridesmaid
Mackenzie and I may have never met had fate not placed a bubbler right outside of my classroom and a gym right across from it...or so the story goes! Fast forward through a pandemic, a marriage, a baby (soon to be two!), and some crazy psycho stuff- here we are and I couldn't me more thankful that this teacher bestie (and her crab kicks!) came into my life right when I needed her most!
Flower Girl
The smiliest little niece of the groom!
