Morristown has a ton of history as it's known for Morristown National Historical Park, with important Revolutionary War sites like Fort Nonsense and the New Jersey Brigade Area. Washington’s Headquarters Museum at the Ford Mansion preserves the 18th-century home occupied by Washington and his aides in the winter of 1779–1780. Jockey Hollow features an 18th-century farmhouse and reconstructed soldiers’ huts. Take some time to walk the downtown square at the intersection of 202, Washington Street, and South Street. There's ample shops and restaurants (like Roots Steakhouse) as well as attractions/theater, etc. and even a comedy show happening on 1/4/24 at the Mayo Performing Arts Center.
Incredible restaurant with indoor golf simulator (Top Golf).
Chic, cozy speakeasy-style bar, hidden behind a laundromat-style entrance.
A Smithsonian affiliate museum. The Morris Museum creates opportunities for lifelong learning, discovery, and creativity, driven by the contemporary interpretation of its Guinness Collection of Mechanical Musical Instruments and Automata as well as its general collections. The performing arts add further unique perspectives and dimensions of interpretation.
Located in the 1917 landmark Vial Mansion, Jokey Hollow is an American restaurant including a raw bar and lounge.
