Travel Note
Hello family and friends! Now that you've received our Save the Date and hung the lovely picture of us on your fridge, your next thought was probably something like, "What is Livingston Manor, is that a town or the wedding venue?" Well, we are here to let you know that it's the town in New York where our venue, The Arnold House, is located. For everyone looking to embrace the Catskills charm, we encourage you to stay at boutique inns near the venue. We put together a list of great options, linked below in a spreadsheet. For those who prefer a chain hotel, we’ve included our recommendation of the Hampton Inn Monticello. We’ve also included Airbnb options for anyone staying in groups. Please prioritize the inns at the top of the list (noted “PRIORITY LODGING”) to help us streamline transportation. We highly recommend booking ASAP — September is peak season in the Catskills and there are other wedding venues in the area with the same lodging options, so availability may become limited. The boutique inns and Airbnbs we suggest are all located within a 15 minute drive of the venue. The Hampton Inn Monticello is around 30 minutes from the venue. We will provide transportation for anyone staying at the accommodations on this list. If you choose to stay somewhere not on our list, we cannot guarantee that we’ll provide transportation. Please note that Uber is not available in the area, but there is parking at our venue so you are welcome to drive yourself to the wedding. If you need help finding a place to stay, figuring out who else is invited that you could stay with, etc., please reach out to us. We want to make this as easy as possible for everyone! Once you book your accommodations, please send us the address of where you’ll be staying (or we will reach out as the wedding gets closer!) so we can coordinate transportation. SWF is 1 hour from our venue, but is a smaller airport with limited flights.

EWR, JFK, and LGA are each around 2 hours from our venue and are all major airports with plenty of flight options.
