There will be plenty of outdoor activities on the privately booked venue property both Saturday and Sunday. These include kayaks, fishing, paddle boarding, volleyball, bad mitten, etc. If you are someone heading north for our wedding, prepare for the sun to be a little more intense than what we are used to; for those of you heading south this will be similar to what you're used to.
There are many good hiking areas near our venue! We'll definitely be doing this over the weekend.
All throughout Greer there are many parks with different yard type games available to everyone. Including but not limited to horseshoes, giant jenga, giant connect 4, cornhole and more!
We went to visit the venue in August '25 and along the way saw so much wildlife like turkeys, elk, deer. It would be fun if you don't get to see this often to take a walkabout in the woods and see some animals in their natural habitat. Please don't try to pet them (like K would). We don't want to be responsible when they get you.
Big Lake is not too far away!
Sunrise park resort (skiing in the winter + summery stuff in the warmer months) is relatively close to the venue and might be a fun place to visit over the weekend!
