I suggest booking an Airbnb or Vrbo for the weekend. 
The Mast Farm Inn is a 15 minute drive from the two larger towns Banner Elk and Boone. Banner Elk is a cute mountain town with lots of local shops and activities. Boone offers larger grocery stores and restaurants. 

The Mast Farm Inn has rooms if you want to stay there, or the Heritage Hill Cabins are walking distance from the wedding venue as well.
