Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Free self parking is available at the venue. As you turn into the entrance, you will see an Iriswoods Wedding and Events sign, as pictured above. Drive up the long road, and you will approach a gate with parking on the right hand side. Just follow the directions and you will be good to go! Option to either take the short walk up to the venue or catch a golf cart ride. Ceremony & reception are located at the same venue.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request for you to reply by July 19th!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We request that all guests arrive by 4:30 PM for enough time to park, sign our Bible Guest Book, and find a seat for the ceremony. We will begin the ceremony promptly at 5 PM.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’d love for all guests to dress in Formal Attire. It’s so fun to pull out those floor-length dresses for special occasions, and we’d love to give you a reason to dress up! A suit & tie is appropriate for the men.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

All guests who are invited have been listed on the invitation. At this time there will be no additional plus ones if their name has not been listed. We are excited to celebrate this day with both of our closest friends and family. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Any children under 2 (lap sitters) are more than welcome to attend our wedding. We kindly request that you are mindful during the ceremony of your children, and excuse yourself should they begin to cause a disruption. For any children over 2, we love your little ones, but we have limited capacity at our venue and truly want to celebrate with as many of our closest friends and family as possible. We appreciate your understanding & hope you can enjoy a night off and relax! :)

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Please review the “Schedule” tab on our website to find the details for all events that weekend. Be sure to scroll through!

Question

Do I have to have a bible verse prepared for the Bible Guest Book?

Answer

Not at all! Our Bible Guest Book will become our family bible, and we love the idea of highlighted verses & heartfelt messages written amongst the pages. If you feel inclined, come with a specific bible verse in mind that you’d like to highlight! If not, we’d love the memory of your presence written in the margins. Thank you :)
