When should I RSVP by?
Answer
We would love everyone to RSVP by July 4th at the latest. We want all of you there, but understand if you are unavailable.

What is the dress code?

Black-Tie Optional! Kilts are encouraged (but not required), and floor length gowns are preferred. Lets get fancy and have a great time!

Can I bring a date?

If it is not specified that you have a plus one on your invitation, we unfortunately do not have room for any extra guests.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
As per Scotland tradition, there will not be an open bar. According to Graeme, they would be "absolutely steaming' beyond repair". There will be a cash bar that takes all major credit cards except amex. There will also be complementary glasses of wine at the cocktail hour, speeches, and one half bottle of wine allocated per person for dinner.

Where should we stay?
Answer
There are some lodging in the castle and castle areas, but those have all been allocated. If you are looking for a place to stay on the night of the wedding, there is a hotel in Maybole called the Cassillis Hotel. It is a 4 Star hotel that's a 10 minute drive away from the castle, priced at about $125 per night. If you are a castle or cottage guest looking for a place to stay before the wedding, we recommend staying in Glasgow. If it is requested enough, we will look into a group rate for a hotel.

Would you recommend renting a car for the out-of-towners?
Answer
We are working on booking a shuttle that will provide a round trip from Gourock the day of the wedding, as well as a shuttle to and from Glasgow for the people staying on property (on Nov 3 and Nov 5). There is parking available if you choose to drive to Blairquhan.

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
You can find our registry on this website, however we do not recommend the Scottish folk to use it, as it is in USD. Please remember we are traveling back to the USA, and it is difficult to bring physical gifts home.
