Getting to Fire Island (Ocean Beach)
Fire Island is car-free, so you’ll need to take a ferry to get there. We promise—it’s part of the fun! Step 1: Get to Bay Shore, NY Driving? Head to: Fire Island Ferries Terminal 99 Maple Ave, Bay Shore, NY 11706 Paid parking is available directly across from the terminal. Taking the train? Hop on the LIRR (Long Island Rail Road) to Bay Shore Station. From there, it’s a short taxi or Uber to the ferry terminal. 🔹 Ferry to Ocean Beach You'll want the ferry to Ocean Beach (there are several towns on Fire Island, so double-check!). ⛴ Ocean Beach Ferry Schedule https://fireislandferries.com/schedules/ocean-beach/ 🎟 Tickets: Buy at the terminal or Download the FI mTickets app for mobile tickets Tip: Give yourself a little extra time for parking, grabbing your tickets, and boarding. You can park at the reception venue: The Bayview House at Captain Bill’s 122 Ocean Avenue, Bay Shore, NY From there: Join the private ferry to Ocean Beach for the ceremony (2:30 PM departure) Or skip the island and meet us at cocktail hour (5:30 PM) at Captain Bill’s
