We’ll have a private ferry departing from The Bayview House at Captain Bill’s at 2:30 PM, arriving in Ocean Beach with plenty of time for you to walk to the ceremony. ⛴ Ferry to the Reception At 5:00 PM, a private ferry will depart from Ocean Beach to take guests to the reception at The Bayview House at Captain Bill’s in Bay Shore.

How do I get to Fire Island if I’m coming early?

If you're planning to arrive on Fire Island before the wedding day (yay!), you’ll take the ferry from the Bay Shore Ferry Terminal to Ocean Beach. Here’s what you need to know: Ferry Departure Location: Fire Island Ferries – Bay Shore Terminal [99 Maple Ave, Bay Shore, NY 11706] Parking: Convenient parking is available directly across from the ferry terminal. Tickets: You can buy your tickets in one of two ways: Download the FI mTickets app for mobile tickets Purchase tickets at the Fire Island Ferries main office at the terminal Schedule: Ferries run regularly, but be sure to check that your ferry is headed to Ocean Beach (there are multiple Fire Island destinations). If you're not staying on Fire Island and plan to join us just for the day (whether for the ceremony, the reception, or both), you're totally welcome—and we’ve got parking covered! You can park at the reception venue: The Bayview House at Captain Bill’s 122 Ocean Avenue, Bay Shore, NY 11706 There's plenty of parking available right at the venue, so you can leave your car there for the day. From there: Coming to the ceremony on Fire Island? A private ferry will leave from Captain Bill’s at 2:30 PM and bring you to Ocean Beach, just a short walk to the church. Only coming to the reception? No problem! Just arrive at Captain Bill’s by 5:30 PM and join us for cocktail hour and the celebration. Easy, stress-free, and no sprinting to ferries required! 🛳️
