Things To Do

Willits is a small town, with not a whole lot to do unfortunately. However, if you are staying in the area for the wedding, here’s a few of our favorite places to go eat and hang out! Willits did have a major earthquake in early July that a lot of businesses are still recovering from, so if you see a a few missing ceiling panels , or warped walls, don’t think too hard about it! Thank you for supporting any of the local businesses with your patronage while you’re in town!

Northspur Brewing Co.

101 North Main Street, Willits, CA 95490

It may be the only brewery in Willits, but its beers won’t let you down! Grab a bite to eat with your beer.

Slam Dunk Pizza

1708 South Main Street, Willits, CA 95490

If you have kids and like pizza, this is a great option. They have arcade games to keep the kids busy while you enjoy some super good pizza! Big fans of The Homerun pizza!

The Thirsty Axe

209 South School Street, Ukiah, CA 95482

About 25 minutes south of Willits, in Ukiah, the Thirsty Axe is actually where we had our first date! Throwing axes and beer, what a great combo! Be sure to book a time slot if you plan go. A full bar and some food are served here!

Ellie's Mutt Hut

732 South State Street, Ukiah, CA 95482

One of Kayla’s all time favorite lunch spots. Also located 25 minutes south, in Ukiah. Amazing salads. Delicious wraps. And giant chocolate chip cookies. If you need help deciding, Kayla’s go to is the Marinated Grilled chicken wrap, or the BBQ chicken salad with honey mustard instead of ranch. But really, you can’t go wrong with anything there!

Rio's Fish & Chips

1661 South Main Street, Willits, CA 95490

We love to go here for breakfast! Don’t let the name deceive you, their chicken fried steak is *chef’s kiss*.

101 Drive-In

100 North Main Street, Willits, CA 95490

A staple in Willits. They have some of the best burgers in town, and quite possibly all of Mendocino County. Literally mouthwatering according to Kayla.
