We are so excited share not only our future homesite with everyone, but also our wonderful area with those who have not yet visited the New River Gorge. The NRG is full of adventure, including hiking, biking, climbing, whitewater rafting, ATV riding and more! Our hopes with making our wedding on Labor Day weekend, is that people will take advantage of the long weekend to enjoy a night of partying with us, along with exploring things to do in the area!

New River Gorge National Park & Preserve

The newest US National Park that we are lucky enough to call home. Less than 10 mins from our wedding location to the visitor center and trails.

Hawks Nest State Park

Babcock State Park

Summersville Lake State Park

62 Farmhouse Lane, Summersville, WV 26651

The newest WV state park! Only 20 mins from our wedding site. While its cool to visit a state park, you will find better trails/ views by just going to the lake. I recommend Long Point trail (at Summersville), its 4 miles long total, with cliff views of the lake. For water access, Battle Run or Salmon Run are ideal.

Adventures On the Gorge

Another adventure company/resort in the area. Offers similar things as AOTG, with the addition of its waterpark, obstacle course and more.
