FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kayla Harmon and Anthony Tredway
Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we are not officially making this a kid-free wedding, we would advise to bring your children at your own risk. Nothing in this wedding will be censored to cater to children. We would also love it if all the adults were able to have a night to let loose and have fun without worrying about your kids! Our wedding is taking place in an un-fenced area of woods, which is another reason why bringing children may not be ideal. There will also be self-serve alcohol, with no one to monitor this. But again, this is at your discretion.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Something comfortable and weather-appropriate. This wedding is entirely outside, with the exception of our reception tent (praying for no rain). Ladies - if wearing heels, I would recommend a chunkier heal that will not sink into the ground, as there will be no concrete -- just gravel and dirt.

Question

What should I bring?

Answer

Fun and good vibes! While we will try our best to have everything available you may need, there still may be certain things you want to bring. Alcohol - if you are not a fan of beer or wine, you are welcome to bring whatever you like. Outdoor things - we will have citronella tiki torches scattered around the wedding area and will provide bug spray and bug wipes. But, if you have sensitive skin or are particular about these products, you may want to bring your own. Also, if you are planning on camping after the reception, don't forget your camping gear! Keep in mind it is primitive camping and we cannot guarantee access to electricity. Quick camp list: tent, sleep gear, headlamp, lantern, toothbrush/toothpaste, sleep clothes.

Question

What is the parking situation?

Answer

Again, this wedding is taking place on our land.. So the parking area is going to be in a cleared area and the ground will be dirt (not gravel or concrete). If you have the choice, bringing an SUV or a higher clearance vehicle would be ideal. We will have limited parking spaces for lower-clearance vehicles (such as sedans). **PLEASE CARPOOL IF POSSIBLE**

Question

What is the food and drink situation?

Answer

Drinks: - Non-alcoholic: water, sweet tea and lemonade. -Alcoholic: beer kegs and boxed wine. Food: - Hot dog & smore's bar (make your own over the fire)

Question

If it's in the woods, where will I go potty?

Answer

Two porta-potties and a hand-washing station with running water will be available. We will also have hand sanitizer and hand wipes scattered throughout.
