Alki Beach

Alki Beach

Seattle, WA 98116

So much to do here at Alki Beach, but don’t let the name fool you, this is not your typical swimming in bikini kind of beach. Can be breezing & a bit chilly almost any day of the year. This is a favorite spot of ours for finding sea glass, strolling along the water & just taking in the mountains & nature around us. During low tide it is fun to walk out to explore creatures & unique views of the city Lots of restaurants to explore & good eats, my favorite burger is at the locally owned shop, Pepperdock & grab an ice cold cider at Locust Cider just down the way. Perfect on a summer day.

Jack Block Park View Point

Jack Block Park View Point

2868 Southwest Florida Street, Seattle, WA 98126

This is where our engaygment journey began, stop by to check out the gorgeous views of Seattle & enjoy what nature has to offer. A great spot for a picnic or walking through moderate hills with lots to see.

Marination Ma Kai

Marination Ma Kai

1660 Harbor Avenue Southwest, Seattle, WA 98126

You can order online too - if you're interested in an alcoholic beverage there's a bar around the corner to your right as you enter Marination ma kai. There's outdoor seating too, we'd recommend bringing a hat just in case the sunshine is out. It can get really hot on the patio, there are a few umbrellas outside but not enough to find relief from the sunshine if it's too intense.

West Seattle Water Taxi Pier

West Seattle Water Taxi Pier

Seattle, WA 98116

Walk on this 10-minute ferry to downtown where you can explore iconic Seattle & beyond. Go to the Pinball museum, get dumplings in International District, be in community at Seattle Center, and go to a Storm game of course. "Explore two very different parts of the same city. Water Taxi sails between downtown and West Seattle last an average of 10-15 minutes each way. Easily connect to the waterfront pathway and accessible shuttles to Alki Beach Park." - Water Taxi Website
