Our ceremony begins at 4:00 PM in the wooded dell. We recommend making your way to the ceremony site around 3:30 PM so you have time to grab a refreshment, find your seat, and settle in before the ceremony begins.
Our wedding takes place in Vermont in early October — expect crisp fall air! Dress code: Semi-formal. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, as well as suits and cocktail dresses. Think fall jewel tones, rich textures, and shoes that can handle a little natural terrain. The ceremony is planned for the wooded dell, so heels may be tricky. If it rains and we move under the tent, everything will remain covered and comfortable.
Yes. We kindly ask that all phones and cameras remain put away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. Our photographer will capture everything — we promise to share the photos afterward! Photos are welcome during cocktail hour and the reception. We’ll also have a shared POV album available all weekend so everyone can upload and enjoy photos together.
Yes! Echo Lake Inn offers free on-site parking for all wedding guests. The primary parking area is the large lot by the Tyson Congregational Church, directly in front of the Inn. If that lot is full, additional parking is available on the lawn on the opposite side of the church.
Everything is located on the Echo Lake Inn property and within easy walking distance, so no additional transportation will be needed. If you plan to head home after the celebration, we kindly encourage arranging a designated driver or ride in advance so everyone gets home safely.
While we hope everyone will stay at Echo Lake Inn with us (there’s plenty of room!), there are additional lodging options available nearby if you’d prefer more choices. One great option right across Route 100 is The Inn at Water’s Edge, which is just steps away from all of the wedding events. If you need additional recommendations, please reach out!
Echo Lake Inn does not currently offer ADA-accessible guest rooms. However, there is a ramp available at the main entrance when needed. The event restroom stalls are not wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair, but they do include handrails. The Inn also has a golf cart available to assist guests with mobility challenges in traveling to and from the ceremony site. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any accessibility questions or needs — we want everyone to feel comfortable and able to fully enjoy the celebration.
We wish we could invite everyone, but due to the size of the venue and room availability at the Inn, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If your invitation includes a plus-one, it will say so directly.
Yes! Our wedding is kid-friendly. If your children are listed on the invitation, they are warmly invited.
RSVP details will be included with your invitation. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
