We know in Indian culture that RSVPs aren't usually needed, but our venue requires a strict guest count. For that reason, if you plan on coming, we need you to RSVP on our website. The deadline to RSVP on this website will be June 15, 2026. If we do not receive your RSVP by then, we will take that to mean that you cannot make it!
We are so excited to celebrate with all of our family and friends! However, due to venue limitations, we kindly ask that only those named on your invitation attend. We are limiting children to close family only.
This will be a traditional, South Indian (Telugu) Hindu wedding. We will have a program guide to help you keep up (we get lost in the Sanskrit sauce too). We had our Muslim ceremony (Nikkah) with close family and friends in November of 2025.
Mehendi: A laid back pre-wedding event where guests can get henna done, and enjoy food, drink, and company! Haldi: An event where guests smear turmeric paste on the bride and groom to purify their spirits and give them a radiant glow for wedding day. And...we may have a water balloon up our sleeves and a water gun at our belts! Prepare to get wet! Bharaat: A festive groom's processional to the wedding filled with dancing, music, and hype-ness. Bring your sunglasses! Ceremony: A traditional Telugu Hindu ceremony, with a snack and drink intermission. It'll be about 2.5 hours long total (30 minute intermission). Cocktail Hour: A time for libations, light food, and mingling after the ceremony Reception: The main celebration, featuring speeches, cake, dinner, dancing, an open bar (21+), and more!

Would it be an Indian wedding without Indian food? Don't forget to pack your spice tolerance (and TUMs). We will have plenty of vegetarian options. Please let us know any allergies or other dietary restrictions in your RSVP.
We have a hotel block at St. John's Resort, the luxury hotel that we are getting married at. Please call (734) 414-0600 and share that you are with the Davuluri-Arsiwala wedding. We have queen and king rooms that are double occupancy (4 people) as well as singles for you to reserve. You are also welcome to book your own accomodations or AirBnB near Plymouth, Michigan!
We’ve hired amazing photographers—put your phones down, we've got it covered! Be in the moment, not behind a screen, and let the photographers get your best angle too. We will have a photo opportunity during the ceremony during which you will be permitted to take photos.
