Maize or Blue… and something you wouldn’t mind getting turmeric stains on (or soaked 👀)
Get ready for a Haldi like no other—UMich tailgate style! Think game day energy, but make it shaadi. Come dressed in your best maize and blue and prepare to smear and be smeared as we cover the bride and groom in haldi for good luck. Expect lawn games, water balloons/guns, Indian streetside snacks, and perhaps a DJ Spinbar appearance 🎧

Indian formal wear (saris, lehengas, kurtas, sherwanis) and Western formal (mid or floor length gowns, suits)
The main event! The baraat rolls in right around 3 PM—expect music, dancing, and maximum hype. Don't forget your sunglasses! From there, we transition into a beautiful traditional Telugu Hindu wedding ceremony. Indian ceremonies give Catholic mass a run for their money, but we've got you covered with a 30 minute intermission. After the ceremony, it’s straight into cocktail hour—followed by dinner, dancing, and a reception that will keep the energy going!
