Growing up in West Chester, PA with overlapping circles of friends, Meg and Matt had always known of each other, but never really knew each other. That all changed at a mutual friend’s wedding, where a smooth shot of Jameson at the after-party sparked a conversation that would change everything. From the very beginning, their story was filled with chances, moments that felt a little risky, but undeniably right. After that first meeting, their first real time together came at Meg’s company Christmas party. Did we mention it was an entire Christmas party weekend? And that it was in Nashville, TN? Despite the relationship consisting of only that fateful first interaction and some texts back and forth, Matt hopped on a plane to join in on the weekend. From that weekend on, the two have been inseparable. A few weeks later, Meg visited Philly for Matt’s birthday, and their relationship took off from there. What followed was a year of long-distance dating and traveling back and forth to see each other whenever possible. Eventually, in January 2024, Matt (along with his copilot bulldog, Norman) made the move to Nashville, officially joining Meg in Music City. After a year and a half filled with new friendships, new experiences, and countless memories, Matt popped the next big question. Engaged on August 2, 2025, Meg, Matt, and Norman are now beginning another exciting chapter. 2026 is shaping up to be a wild year for this couple, starting with a move to the Big Apple in the spring, and culminating with celebrating with their favorite people on November 7 at Bellevue Hall... ... which just so happens to be 4 years to the weekend of that magical first encounter.
