FAQs

Question

Can I Bring a Plus One?

Answer

Because of limited space at our venue, only guests whose invitation specifically includes a plus one may bring one. Thank you so much for understanding! :)

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

We’re going with semi-formal attire! Think dresses, dressy tops, button-downs, slacks, or nice sweaters. Since it’s an October wedding in Illinois, layers are a great idea in case it gets chilly. Our ceremony will likely be outside, so we recommend skipping long dresses and skinny heels. You may be walking on grass or dirt and we don’t want anyone sinking into the ground!

Question

What's for Dinner?

Answer

We’ll be serving pulled pork and pulled chicken, with sides to go along with it (still being finalized!). For our vegetarian and vegan friends, we’ll have some sides that should work for you as well. If you’d prefer to bring your own meal, just let us know! We’re happy to store it at the venue and help keep it warm for you! 😊

Question

Do you Have a Hotel Block?

Answer

Yes!! We have a hotel block at the Hampton Inn located in Peoria. There is a shuttle to and from as well. The contact number is 309-589-0001, option 0. Mention that you are booking for the Kasher/Katz wedding. The cutoff date for this is 9/17/26. The hotel address is 7806 N Route 91 Peoria, IL 61615

Question

Can I Bring My Kids?

Answer

We love your little ones, but this will be a night out for the parents! Our venue is on a small, working farm, and to help keep the kiddos safe we feel it’s best for them to stay home. You may see a few children from our immediate families in attendance, and we appreciate your understanding!

Question

Let's Get to Business: What's the Booze Situation??

Answer

We’ll have some beer, wine, liquor, and non-alcoholic options available. We strongly encourage you to bring whatever you’d like to drink! We will not have bartender and the drinks are self-serve. We will have troughs full of ice where you'll see bottles and cans. If you feel like bringing extra booze or mixers to share with the group, it would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, you can also keep your special drinks at your tables if you'd like.

Question

Parking

Answer

On site, in a grassy area. There are lights for when it gets dark. If needed, you can leave your car overnight.

Question

Is There A Shuttle?

Answer

Oh hell yeah.

Question

Do You Have a Registry?

Answer

We feel pretty lucky to have everything we need, so no traditional registry! We do have a honeymoon fund for anyone who’d like to contribute, but gifts are totally optional. If you do contribute, just be sure to leave a card so we can properly thank you!

Question

Can I Take Pictures?

Answer

During the ceremony, we kindly ask that you put your cameras and phones away so we can enjoy the moment and our photographer can do their thing. After the ceremony, absolutely—snap away! During the reception, feel free to take photos, but please try not to get in the photographer’s way so they can capture all the best moments for us. SPOILER ALERT, there will be a photobooth! If we don't have a picture together, let's get one!!!

Question

Ceremony Details

Answer

Depending on the weather, our ceremony will take place outside. If the weather isn't cooperating, we will move the ceremony indoors, where the reception will take place. Fingers crossed!

Question

How Do I RSVP?

Answer

The easiest way is to RSVP through Zola—it helps us keep everything organized! If you run into any issues, you can also text one of us, but please try your best to use Zola first so we don't lose track.

Question

When Is the RSVP Deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 26th 2026. If we have not heard by then, we will assume you are not available.
