Ty and Katylia met in 2015 through their officiant Joe Deidrick on a night out in Saint Cloud. At first the two weren't so sure they would get along, but ended up killing it on the dance floor and taking selfies together. Fast forward a few months and they went on a date to the State fair. They were standing in line for some Sweet Martha's Cookies, listening to 'man in the mirror' playing over the speaker, and Katylia knew she had fallen in love with Ty. Shortly after that date, Ty had asked Katylia to move in together and the two have been together since.
