Things To Do

Deep Ellum

Dallas, TX

Eclectic, fast-growing neighborhood with lots of bars and new restaurants! We spend a lot of time here. Check out a show at Dallas Comedy House or get a brunch cocktail at Anvil Pub!

Fair Park

1300 Robert B Cullum Boulevard, Dallas, TX 75210

Check out the famous State Fair of Texas! There are rides, games, animals, and everything fried on a stick.

Dallas Comedy House

3025 Main Street, Dallas, TX 75226
, (214) 741-4448

Our home away from home! We both teach standup comedy and perform regularly at DCH--the old location where we met was one street over. Check out a show or just stop by for a drink!

Dallas Farmers Market

920 South Harwood Street, Dallas, TX 75201
, (214) 664-9110

Check out the weekend market or the food hall! Pick up a Dallas souvenir at one of the shops.

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens

8525 Garland Road, Dallas, TX 75218

Flowers, flowers, and more flowers. Check out these beautiful grounds near White Rock Lake.

Perot Museum of Nature and Science

2201 North Field Street, Dallas, TX 75201
, (214) 428-5555

One of Katy's favorites! With everything from dinosaur bones to giant gemstones (and a questionable exhibit on oil production), you can spend hours here. The building itself is really neat too.

The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza

411 Elm Street, Dallas, TX 75202
, (214) 747-6660

A Dallas must-see. Located within the former Texas School Book Depository building, the museum chronicles the assassination of JFK. Wander over to the grassy knoll to chat with some JFK conspiracy theorists.

McKinney Avenue Trolley

McKinney Avenue Trolley

2700 Cityplace West Boulevard, Dallas, TX 75204

Hop on the free trolley and explore Dallas' Uptown and Arts District neighborhoods! You can ride from Uptown to Kylde Warren Park to the Arts District and back again for free! It's a great way to explore.

Nasher Sculpture Center

2001 Flora Street, Dallas, TX 75201
, (214) 242-5100

This beautiful museum was designed by famous architect Renzo Piano. It's not free, but it's worth checking out.

Dallas Museum Of Art

1717 North Harwood Street, Dallas, TX 75201
, (214) 922-1200

Do yourself a favor and visit the DMA. It's a world-class collection of art that is FREE to visit! You can make the most of their overpriced parking garage and explore DMA, Nasher Sculpture Museum, and Klyde Warren Park all in one visit! Or hop on the free McKinney Avenue Trolley.

Klyde Warren Park

2012 Woodall Rodgers Freeway, Dallas, TX 75201
, (214) 716-4500

This is a deck park built above a highway! With food trucks, a dog park, and games, there's lots to do here. Stop by the park before or after you swing by the art museums.

Reunion Tower

Dallas, TX 75207

Take a trip to the top of the tower for panoramic views of Dallas! Or check out the very fancy 360 restaurant by Wolfgang Puck.
