Oh wow, thanks for asking! You don't need to get us a gift, but since you asked... kind of! We live in a small condo and have everything we need/have space for. If you click on the registry link up at the top, you can either chip in the amount of your choice towards our honeymoon or get us something like a jet ski adventure. Or donate to charity. Honestly, we're just happy you're celebrating with us.
In Farmers Branch! October 6 is the Texas/OU football game, when fans of UT and OU come from all over for this game at the Cotton Bowl. It gets... rowdy. The hotels in Dallas that aren't booked up for our wedding weekend are already overpriced, but good news! We've got some rooms reserved at a hotel near our venue. Check it out on the travel page of this site.
Our ceremony and reception are outside, so we suggest keeping an eye on the weather and dressing accordingly. You may want to leave the stilettos at home! The bride will probably wear a dress.
Yes. You did when you read that this is a brunch wedding.
It depends on where you're staying! We suggest checking with your hotel for complimentary shuttle services. If there aren't any, Ubers are relatively inexpensive. Check with fellow wedding guests for carpooling opportunities!
Yes! There is on site parking for about 50 cars.
Hell yeah, my dude! We'll have a Welcome Happy Hour at 3Nations Brewery in Farmers Branch on Friday, October 5. Check the schedule page of this site for details.
GO TO THE STATE FAIR! Do yourself a favor and get here a day early or stay a day late and check out the State Fair of Texas. It's crowded and expensive but it's kind of a big deal. Plus, you can get just about anything you want fried on a stick.
YAY! Katy is actually going to still be Ms. Evans, so please hold off on the monogrammed towels. Feel free to call Shahyan "Mr. Evans" though!
Sadly, no. He'll be at home playing guard dog. We'll save him a breakfast taco.
Absolutely not. Well, maybe.
PLEASE LEAVE COMEDY TO THE COMEDIANS.
