Maid of Honor
I met Allie over ten years ago during a summer job. We were camp counselors and spent the summer playing gym games, climbing rock walls, and going on field trips. We reconnected years later as roommates and quickly became best friends. Allie would often borrow my clothes and need me to help accessorize her. She still sends me texts with outfit options to this day. We had so many fun nights out in Royal Oak or staying home lounging on the couch. We always seem to experience the same life events around the same time, including planning our weddings! Allie was there for me in so many ways and I am thankful I have her to stand by my side as my Maid of Honor.
Matron of Honor
Amanda and I met in 8th grade when we were assigned seats at the same desk in English class. We both had dance in common which, of course, made us become best friends quickly. We spent high school dancing together and were inseparable. People often asked where the other one was if we were not together for some reason. We have been through so many life events and now are able to work together doing what we love most, dancing! Amanda and I will always be one phone call away for whatever the reason and I am so thankful for that. I could not imagine anyone else being my Matron of Honor.
Bridesmaid
The Katy’s, as we were sometimes referred to, met in our high school performing arts program. We were Katy K and Katy P. Katy K quickly became my little sister and followed me off to college so we could continue dancing together. As I found my passion for choreography, she was always my muse and knew exactly how I wanted the movement to look. I loved that we were able to take the stage together again with Allure Dance Company for several years. Our lives followed a very close and similar path through school, work, and friends. We have lived together, moved together, moved home to Livonia together, and back out to Royal Oak together. No matter where life takes us now, we are and will always be connected.
Bridesmaid
I was so happy when I found out my Aunt Karen had a baby girl. I grew up with mostly boy cousins around, so having another girl in the family was very exciting. One summer, I babysat Bridget and Sean while my Aunt was at work. We spent our days watching cartoons, going to the pool, and making jewelry. Through the years, I have watched Bridget grow up to be a strong and beautiful young woman. Now, I take fashion and makeup advice from her. Bridget has been there every step of the way for Rob and my major life events. It’s an honor to have my baby cousin stand next to me on my wedding day.
Bridesman
Jeremy and I were partners in crime from a very young age. We spent summers together camping with our family, which is what made us inseparable. Jeremy would go to my dance recitals and I would go to his band performances. We have continued so many fun traditions with just each other. We still exchange birthday and Christmas gifts to this day. Rarely a day goes by without us checking in with each other, even if it is just to see what's for dinner. Jeremy has been there for me whether it's for the good or the bad. He has always supported me in anyway he could. We have truly been best friends since day one and will continue to be BFC’s ;)
Bridesman
Dan is my one and only big brother. We had the typical brother sister relationship growing up. Yes, we could fight like cats and dogs. However, in the end we were and always will be there for each other. During my first trip to California, I had the privilege of standing up in Dan and his wife Jacquie’s wedding. I have to admit, I cried like a baby watching my big brother look so happy. We now spend most our family time watching my nephew, Jameson, dance around the living room as he recites his numbers while on facetime. I am so excited to have my big bro by my side on my wedding day, and he better cry like I did ;)
Best Man
Phuong came into my life when I needed him most and is still is there for me even today. We first met when I moved to Mt. Pleasant almost ten years ago. We couldn't be more different and the same. We are both competitive when it comes to things like pool and having the same sense of humor. While he handles things with ease, I have a more head on approach. It's this ying and yang effect that makes us different but has formed a great friendship. I try to learn from him when I can and couldn't think of a better person to be my best man.
Groomsman
Tim has been my longest friend, going back all the way to the 3rd grade. We've done so much together. One of my fondest memories was when Tim and his family letting me tag along with them to an early morning Pokemon League. When we were young, we would work on school projects together. We would also play video games when we were supposed to be doing those school projects. After all this time, we have still remained good friends. It wouldn't be right without Tim as my Groomsman on this special day.
Groomsman
I've known Adam for almost as long as I've known his cousin and my other groomsman Tim. We all grew up in Muskegon and went to the same High School. I didn't really befriend Adam until we worked with each other at Little Caesars. While attending Community College, we were almost inseparable. Whether it was just hanging out on the weekend or going on a two week adventure in Germany, our bond was strong. Even when Adam left for CMU, I would follow in his footsteps only a year later. We lived together for almost 4 years and we've been a part of so many major life events...this one is just another one for the books.
Groomsman
Nick and I met almost ten years ago in Mount Pleasant and I've always disliked Nick for taking over the role of the best looking one in the group. However, as time would go on, I would learn that we were more similar than just that. No one shares my sense of humor more than Nick. It's this one seemingly small thing that lead to so much more. I've been there for him in some of his life challenges and he's been there for some of mine. It wouldn't be SundayFunday without Nick.
Groomsman
Austin and I also met in Mount Pleasant almost ten years ago. We all had a friend or two that worked at the local salon. The girls would meet up and us guys would have to fend for ourselves and I'm so glad we did, because it made us the friends that we are today. Austin is the kind of guy that would pick you up and take you home, if you just wrecked your car in the middle of a busy street that goes through the center of the city. Austin is also the kind of guy to let you stay at his house with only a few hours notice. We share more than just last names and it wouldn't be a SundayFunday without him.
Groomsman
Sam and I met...wait can you guess it?...yup Mount Pleasant. What can I say about my SundayFunday friend that hasn't already been said. Even though Sam is younger than myself, I still look up to him. He is wise beyond his years. I'm always competing with my friends, especially Sam, but he wouldn't know it. Whether it's trying to make people laugh or destroying TryHards online, I strive to be like him in that aspect. I think Sam was the most surprised when I asked him to be one of my groomsmen, but like I said before, it wouldn't be a SundayFunday without him.
Flower Girl
Reagan is a high energy lovable little girl. She is always so excited to see us and gives the best hugs. We enjoy playing hide and go seek together and having family dinners. We can’t wait to have Reagan walk down the aisle as our flower girl!
Ring Bearer
Jameson is such a smart and energetic kid. We often FaceTime with him and every time he shows off his counting, colors and letters. We are so excited for him to be apart of our wedding and become Rob’s nephew too!
