FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no dress code, but with an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, here is what our AI friends recommends: "Dressy Casual Attire" (This seems like two different things!), but I am going to go with it: We want you to be comfortable at our wedding. The recommended attire is dressy casual. Folks who'd like to wear a dress can wear sundresses, lightweight separates and flats or wedge heels for the outdoor ceremony. (The ceremony will be held under a bandshell.) Alternatively, guests can wear a light dress shirt with khakis or other lightweight slacks. Jackets and ties are optional. "Summer Cocktail Attire" Summer cocktail attire for 2026 blends elegance with the season's heat, emphasizing breathable fabrics like linen, silk, and chiffon, and vibrant colors like "Capri blue," "icy pink," and bold florals. For women, midi dresses, chic jumpsuits, and one-shoulder silhouettes are top trends. Men should opt for lightweight, well-tailored suits in tan, light gray, or blue, often forgoing the tie for outdoor or daytime events.
