After being introduced by a friend, we spent a couple of weeks talking on the phone before our first date at Aster Cafe on July 10, 2022. Our connection was immediate, and we spent our first few dates hiking, attending a yoga class, and watching a water ski show from Jeremy's boat. Today, three years later, we've built a life together. Our family includes Jeremy's sons, Dean (11) and Vince (10), and our cats, Roman and Fluffy. Our dog Luna and cat Binx passed away in the last year, and will always be a part of our family. We've enjoyed family trips to Duluth and a couple's getaway to Colorado as well as a long weekend at a resort in Brainerd with Jeremy's family. Jeremy surprised Katy at her family's house in Wisconsin over Christmas in 2023. Vince and Dean were able to visit Mercer for the first time for Thanksgiving 2024. Jeremy proposed on Katy's birthday in June 2025 during a Ryan Adams concert—the same artist we saw within a few months of dating. We are excited to be getting married at Father Hennepin Bluff Park, near one of our favorite spots in Minneapolis along the Mississippi River. We were on our way to see another ceremony venue, and came across the park. It’s views of the river and Minneapolis skyline are perfect.
