Things To Do

We bonded over our love of New York, and during our time together have exchanged our favorite and most meaningful places. We're excited to share some of them with you. NYC in February can get pretty chilly so we empathize if you want to keep your NYC experiences primarily indoors- also great because we're huge foodies. These spots will take you through some areas that we love that you can further explore and enjoy.
Bleeker Street Pizza Alley

Bleeker Street Pizza Alley

289 Bleecker St, New York, NY 10014

South of this address you'll find three great pizza places that embody the classic NYC slice. - Bleecker Street Pizza (by the slice) - John's of Bleecker Street (by the pie) - Joe's Pizza (by the slice)

B&H Dairy

B&H Dairy

127 2nd Avenue, New York, NY 10003

Classic, old school kosher dairy diner right next to where Ratner's used to be. Highly recommend their challah french toast and omelettes!

Brooklyn Bridge

Brooklyn Bridge

New York, NY 10038

It's hard to beat the views walking across this iconic bridge.

Grimaldi's Pizzeria

Grimaldi's Pizzeria

1 Front Street, Brooklyn Heights, NY 11201

Okay, we love our pizza. Reward yourself after a walk across the beautiful Brooklyn Bridge at this local gem!

Bamonte's

Bamonte's

32 Withers Street, Williamsburg, NY 11211

It's all about the atmosphere at Bamonte's. You expect Don Corleone and Tony Soprano to come walking in through the door. Great, classic Italian food. Take a 12 minute walk to Fortunato Brothers for dessert (289 Manhattan Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211).

L&B Spumoni Gardens

L&B Spumoni Gardens

2725 86th Street, Gravesend, NY 11223

We didn't lie when we said we love our pizza. If you're exploring Brooklyn, hit this local favorite, family friendly pizza joint. You don't get more classic New Yawwk than this.

Essen NY Deli

Essen NY Deli

1108 Avenue J, Midwood, NY 11230

A big favorite of ours! Old fashioned kosher deli in the heart of Brooklyn. Bring your appetite, the sandwiches are huge.

Highline

Highline

34th St–Hudson Yards, New York, NY

A great scenic view for first-time city explorers! Guides you past a fun indoor market and shops in the meatpacking district. Might be a little chilly in February so maybe not optimal if you're sensitive to the cold.

Chelsea Market

Chelsea Market

75 9th Avenue, New York, NY 10011

Right off the Highline, and just an avenue below the pier, check out shops and restaurants in the former Nabisco biscuit factory.
