Doors to the cathedral will open at 4:00 p.m. and the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 p.m., so we recommend arriving at least ten minutes prior.
Parking will be available for guests at Trinity; we'll have signs up to help you find the free lots. If you're planning to drive, we recommend parking at Trinity and taking our shuttle to and from the reception. There is some street parking around Coopers Hall, but the area is generally very crowded on Saturday nights. If you want to avoid driving at all, Portland has great public transportation (see TriMet's website for route planning) and many taxis and ride share services, including Uber and Lyft.
We will provide a bus to take guests from Trinity to Coopers Hall and back to help with parking issues. The bus will leave from the front steps of Trinity after the ceremony, at around 5:15. The return shuttle loop will begin after the cake is cut at 8:30 and will run every half hour between Coopers Hall, the Trinity parking lot, and the Sentinel Hotel. The final shuttle will depart at 10:30.
Due to size restrictions at the reception venue, we ask that only those listed on the tag included in your invitation attend. Thank you for understanding!
Coopers Hall is not only a working winery, but also has a full restaurant on site. They'll be serving hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour and a family-style meal for dinner, along with a full open bar. The kitchen will gladly prepare separate meals for guests with allergies or restrictions with advance notice. Parents may also request a kids' meal of chicken tenders, fries, and vegetables for guests under 12 if they would prefer. Please indicate any restrictions or kids' meal requests on your RSVP.
We've created a list of activities we'd like to add to our honeymoon itinerary, which is listed under "Registry" on this website. We also have a home goods registry at Macy's under Katy George and Daniel Kennedy. Visit Macys.com/registry and search our names or find a direct link on our Registry page under "Other Registries."
Both of us really love the names our parents gave us, so we're sticking with what we've got!
