A travel enthusiast...an educator... Falina is constantly giving Katrina hope that our generation might just change the world. Katrina is so thankful to have her sister be her other Nashville-half especially because Katrina gets to hang out with Marshall (Falina's sweet sweet dog). Always down for a good conversation and a glass of wine, Katrina hopes everyone has a "Falina" in their life.

Lance Cooper

Best Man

Lance is Brendan’s only brother and the best man in the wedding. The two brothers grew up together, often being mistaken for twins in their younger years. Growing up, they made many memories including family vacations, youth group retreats, ski getaways and beer fests (in the more recent years). Being two and a half years older than Brendan, Lance paved the way for many things that Brendan followed including selling Brendan his first car, being a lifeguard, going hours away from home for college, becoming a beer connoisseur and marrying girls whose names start with ‘K.’ Brendan is also excited to be following in his older brother’s footsteps by asking Lance to be his best man, as Brendan acted as the best man for Lance and his wife Kara’s wedding in 2016.

Marissa Ruffing

Maid of Honor

Katrina's older sister that she can always count on having a good time with! She's funny, caring, loyal, and always good to stay up late for a long chat - that is if she can stay awake! Known to other friends and family as the Lothamer/Ruffing Family Nurse - Marissa is constantly reminding Katrina that though she is a medical professional, Katrina still needs to see a doctor. Katrina is forever grateful to Marissa for lending all her stylish clothes, her opinions on all things wedding, and for always having the best snacks at her house. Marissa is the best mother to the sweetest baby girl, Josephine Marie, and always makes sure the ones closest to her know how much they are loved. Marissa and Nathan also brought the first dog into the Lothamer family - a beautiful golden named Cheddar!

Matt Forst

Groomsman

Matt is Brendan’s first ever friend and is a groomsman for Brendan and Katrina’s wedding. The Forst family and the Cooper family have been friends since long before either Brendan or Matt were born, so the two best friends like to say they were friends before they were even born. For as long as Brendan can remember, he and Matt have been doing memorable things from skiing together 13,000 ft up in the mountains to golfing in Nashville in the pouring rain. Although they don’t live in the same city, Brendan and Matt often visit each other whenever they can, and Katrina and Matt’s girlfriend, Haley, have begun striking up a friendship as well. Brendan is very excited to have Matt standing next to him on the big day.

Taylor Rizzo

Katrina's best friend since kindergarten, Taylor is the most giggly and loving person but also one of the most stubborn. After spending almost every summer together as kids, in 2009 Taylor and her family moved from Michigan to Georgia and Taylor refused to make friends with anyone for at least one whole year because she didn't want to forget about her friends in Michigan. But alas, she gave in and made many wonderful friends and is married to her high school sweetheart. Taylor was over the moon when Katrina moved to Nashville - putting the two best friends only 3.5 hours a part instead of 12 hours. Their families have traveled all over together - Mexico, Arizona, Northern Michigan, Chicago, and Florida. The girls look forward to future adventures together with their significant others.

Parker Allen

Groomsman

Parker is Brendan’s cousin and is a groomsman for the wedding. Parker is one of Brendan’s seven cousins on his mother’s side of the family, and the closest in age to Brendan. Between family gatherings, going to the same high school and Parker and Brendan’s one-on-one hangouts, the two saw each other quite often growing up. They have tons of great memories together, some of Brendan’s fondest being surfing in Costa Rica, trips to Six Flags, and Parker’s bachelor party in Nashville. Because they live in different cities, the two keep in touch by playing video games online and hanging out when Brendan is visiting his parents in Pennsylvania. Brendan is happy to have Parker as a cousin, a friend and a groomsman.

Grace Rosen

Bridesmaid

Katrina's right hand for all things music, theater, and drama. Grace is probably the only reason why Katrina survived middle school. From getting a technical in their 6th grade basketball game (with Katrina's Dad as the coach) to being the best performer/singer/actress in school - Grace is no doubt one of the most talented people Katrina knows. The girl deserves her own comedy special. Not only is Grace hilarious, but she is also a really really great friend. Always there when needed and will show up for you (even if it is in crocs).

Nate Sego

Groomsman

Nate is one of Brendan’s first friends at Belmont and is one of two Groomsmen representing the Nashville contingent. Although they would get a lot closer later, Nate and Brendan started hanging out in their very first semester at Belmont University. Brendan, Nate and Ryan Tapley (groomsman, see below) became inseparable while in their sophomore year, and have been ever since. Nate has a great story about how Brendan saved his life on their senior year spring break (feel free to ask him about it), but the trio has loads more great times to look back on from their college years and post-graduation. The Belmont friend group is also a large part of Katrina and Brendan’s story since Katrina was quickly embedded into the group when she transferred to Belmont for her junior year in 2015.

Jennica Lurie

Bridesmaid

Thanks to their lockers being right next to each other, Katrina and Jennica met in high school and bonded over the fact that both of them were "school-of-choice" kids. By senior year, it was clear that the two had established a life-long friendship. Part of this is because Jennica is the type of person who will drop anything and everything to be there for you. Even if she has some bad travel luck - she will somehow get there. A lover of all things travel, music, and culture - Jennica lives in the eclectic city of Austin, TX where Katrina hopes to visit soon! Until then, the two will continue to sadly bond over the fact that they will always be Detroit Lions fans.

Ryan Tapley

Groomsman

Ryan is Brendan’s other best friend from Belmont, along with Nate, and is a groomsman in the wedding. Ryan and Brendan first hit it off during their sophomore year, when they started playing pick-up soccer together. For much of their friendship, Brendan and Ryan have bonded over sports, video games and great food. Brendan characterizes his friendship with Nate and Ryan by the amount of laughter they all share together. These days you can find the group tearing it up on the flag football field or the basketball court in one of Nashville’s rec sports leagues. Brendan is glad that both Nate and Ryan can be a part of the special day.

Kara Cooper

Bridesmaid

Brendan's sister-in-law and Katrina's soon-to-be sister-in-law, Kara is probably the only other person in the Cooper family who loves coffee as much as Katrina does - and thank goodness! Katrina admires Kara for her ability to juggle being a full time educator, an amazing mother to the best toddler, and a great friend. Katrina loves when she and Brendan are able to spend time with Lance, Kara, and Ethan, and can't wait for all the future fun times ahead!

Kristen Johnson

Kristen (Brendan's younger sister and Katrina's soon-to-be sister-in-law) and Katrina are more alike than people realize. Both are competitive with their significant others when playing any sort of game. Win or lose, Kristen is a good sport though espeically because her husband is a Giants and a Celtics fan - Brendan and Katrina are not sure how she handles it. In all seriousness, Kristen is a wonderful friend and Katrina can't wait to officially call her a sister. Kristen and her husband, Terik, had a beautiful baby girl in May named Briella! Katrina and Brendan look forward to spending time and visiting with Kristen and Terik, at their home in Greensboro, NC!

Brendan's youngest sister and Katrina's soon-to-be sister-in-law, Courtney is in school at Belmont University and is pursuing a teaching degree. Courtney probably has the best shoe game out of everyone Katrina knows and Katrina is so happy to have someone to bond with over being the youngest in the family. Brendan and Katrina love having another Bruin in the family and often see Courtney at Belmont basketball games. Courtney is a loving friend and Katrina is happy to be gaining another sister!

Son of Lance and Kara Cooper - Ethan is the first baby on the Cooper side of the family! Some of Ethan's favorite things are playing with Grandma and Pops, going outside, and helping his mom and dad feed Kody (Lance and Kara's cute corgi). Uncle Brendan and Ethan love to play with Ethan's toys and Aunt Katrina and Ethan love to dance to songs by Elmo!
