Brendan and Katrina met when they were students at Belmont Univeristy in 2015. Katrina had just transferred from Michigan State University (go green!) to pursue her undergraduate degree in Music Business and Brendan was beginning his junior year in Marketing. They became good friends while working at the gym together and after Brendan introduced Katrina to his friends, she became part of the friend group! After two years of fun and college graduation, the two began dating in the fall of 2017. Throughout their relationship, Brendan has converted Katrina into an avid Philadelphia fan (go Sixers and Eagles) and Katrina has convinced Brendan that the Spartans are the better school in Michigan! In between work and Katrina earning her MBA, they play in multiple rec sports leagues, attend every Belmont basketball and Nashville SC (Nashville's professional soccer team) game they can, and travel back to see their families in Michigan and Pennsylvania (with at least one annual trip to the Jersey shore). In February 2021, they purchased a house in the Bellevue neighborhood of Nashville, which is home to the beautiful hiking trails of Percy and Edwin Warner Parks, and Cheekwood Estate & Gardens, all of which Katrina and Brendan frequent as much as they can. Katrina enjoys cooking (and Brendan enjoys eating) in the new kitchen, and they are having fun exploring new breweries in the area.
