Check out this recently restored feed mill building! There's lots of history here, but you can also grab a bite to eat from Ian's Pizza, grab coffee at Ledger, and take a yoga class. We love spending time here and even considered it as one of our reception venues!
Stop in for pizza or a cocktail! The beer selection is large, and it's a good place to catch a game too. Katlyn's favorite drink is the Chimney Sweep. Before you leave, check out the old bank vault in the "speak easy" basement.
This is THE place to watch a game. Order the cheese curds! And beware, the old fashioneds are strong.
Looking for some nature time? Take a trip to this conservancy! Miles of easy trails provide scenic views. Check out the bubbling springs, too.
Take a long walk around the arboretum; there is so much plant life (and sometimes turkeys) to see! For a much longer trek, start at the corner of Souths Mills Street and Arboretum Drive and walk the road into the arboretum.
This is our go-to spot for drinks, dinner and whatever game we can catch on TV! The restaurant is huge and laid back and offers an awesome outdoor bar and seating (with TVs of course!).
Our favorite spots here are along the beach or on the boat launch! Stop by for stunning views of Madison from a distance. We like hiking the Woodland Trail, too. This trail features a couple of Indian mounds.
This place is unique. Visit the grill for a rustic, cozy and historic experience. The food is delicious, but our favorite thing on the menu is the Old Fashioned. (Katlyn recommends whiskey sweet and Travis likes Southern Comfort sour.) In fact, it's our favorite place in town for this Wisconsin drink!
