Is the reception venue separate from the ceremony venue?

Answer

Yes, the reception venue is separate from the ceremony venue. We've chosen to keep the ceremony intimate, inviting only immediate family and close friends. However, we warmly welcome all our guests to join us for the reception celebration immediately following the ceremony.

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP between March 1 and March 15. During this period, we plan to host a Couples Shower/Stock-the-Bar Party in April and need your response to finalize our guest list.

Will there be parking at the reception venue?

Answer

Our reception will be held in downtown Austin, where parking is limited. While street parking and public garages are available, we highly recommend using ride-sharing services, such as Uber or Lyft, especially if you plan to enjoy the open bar and after-party. This will ensure a safe and stress-free experience.

Are plus ones or children aloud?

Answer

We’ve accounted for plus-ones and children, so please let us know if we missed someone. Also include all names of your guests when you RSVP. While we love little ones, we encourage you to think of this as a fun "date night" if possible! However, we understand that childcare can be tricky, so children are welcome at the reception until 9:30 PM—after that, the celebration will be for adults only.

Our wedding theme is Formal Garden Party, so dress elegantly with a touch of outdoor charm! We recommend flowy dresses, sophisticated floral prints, or classic solid colors for ladies. Gentlemen, a well-tailored suit in any classic or seasonal color will be perfect—ties are optional but always a nice touch!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception, however, we do recommend bringing cash or a credit card along if you plan to attend the after-party, as drinks after the reception will not be covered.
