We want everyone to feel comfortable and safe at our wedding - especially our high-risk guests. Thank you in advance for respecting our COVID protocol: - VACCINATION - Full vaccination + booster is preferred (this will be the vast majority of our guests). - TESTING - We ask that ALL guests self-test the day of the wedding. If you test positive (even if you don't have symptoms), please stay home. - MASKING - Still required indoors by our venue unless eating or drinking. We really hope this changes by July. Masks will not be required outdoors.
Our intimate venue is limited in capacity and at this point we can only accommodate those named on our invitations. Please reach out to katiep.shawne@gmail.com if you have questions. Thanks for your consideration.
We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off to let loose on the dance floor. The few children attending are in our ceremony/immediate family. Thanks for understanding!
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 pm. Guests are welcome to arrive pre-ceremony as early as 4:30pm.
We recommend carpooling or ride sharing services as our venue is limited in parking availability. The lot directly in front of the Brazilian Room has capacity for 30 or so vehicles. If the lot is full, find street parking along Wildcat Canyon Road or on Anza View Road.
Yes. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be on the patio outside of the Brazilian Room, then we will move indoors for the reception.
Semi-Formal: tuxes and gowns are welcome, as are suits and cocktail dresses. Dance-worthy shoes, a light layer for the evening, and (hate to say it) a mask for indoors unless eating or drinking. Fingers crossed our venue lifts this requirement by July 1.
We are unable to provide transportation, but there are abundant ride sharing options in the bay area. You can even schedule a pickup time in advance using Lyft.
Our registry is right here on Zola. You can find the tab at the top of the page.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the Tilden Regional Park district.
Yes, please head to our travel page for more info.
We plan to provide an array of food options for our guests, but please send a note to katiep.shawne@gmail.com if you'd like to notify us about any particular concern.
It's looking like mostly sunny skies, 66 degrees, and a bit breezy on July 1 in the Berkeley Hills, with a low of 55 in the evening. You might want to bring a light layer.
NEVER! Jk... The reception will conclude at 11:00 p.m.
