Parking can be limited downtown

Insider tip: Park in a garage or look for a parking spot along one of the side streets to leave your car there all weekend. Then, explore by foot - Annapolis is a very walkable town! Calvert Street Parking Garage (located at 19 St Johns St, Annapolis, Maryland 21401) is free to the public on weekends beginning Fridays at 6 p.m. until Mondays at 6 a.m. This garage is a short walk to downtown Annapolis. Both the church and reception venue have ample parking as well.

Please consider these factors when deciding which airport best suits your travel needs. Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) is the closest airport to Annapolis (about a 30-minute drive) with minimal traffic issues. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) stands out for its location in the heart of Washington DC-Arlington region. It is a further drive than BWI and it’s important to account for potential traffic delays during peak hours. Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) is the furthest of these three, and the drive along the 495 beltway route often has heavy traffic. However, this airport might suit our international guests best.
