We met online in February of 2011. After a few weeks of exchanging life philosophies over email, we had coffee and cookies at Balzac's in Toronto's Distillery District. Zacharie was ready for the Canadian cold in the puffiest jacket Katie had ever seen. Katie, as usual, was ill-dressed for the weather, but wearing a fabulous magenta coat. The saying "opposites attract" rings true in our case.

We've kept our feet moving. We've spent time living and learning in Toronto, London, Paris, Ithaca, Ottawa, New York, Oakland, Mountain View, and San Jose. We haven't seen the whole world together yet, but now we have the rest of our lives to do it.
