Matron of Honor
Isabella and Katie have known each other since sophomore year of high school. Isabella has provided a support system for Katie for many years and has encouraged both Vasili and Katie during their journey. Having been friends for so many years, going from living in the same state to not seeing each other for months on end has only grown the bond even more. Although we may not see one another all of the time, when we get together it is like no time has passed. Isabella has been a great support during the wedding planning process whether it has been taking engagement photos for us, calling every Wednesday to catch up, or helping calm my stress she has been incredible during this journey.
Maid of Honor
Anna and Katie have known one another since elementary school when they first started playing volleyball. Through volleyball they have found that they have the same birthday, share a love of Taylor Swift, and have taken many road trips down to the Florida beaches. Although we share the same birthday I will always remind her whose 8 hours older. Throughout the years my twin Anna has always been my other half who has loved green while I loved pink, would rap in songs I would sing, and calmed down my crazy.
Bridesmaid
Lauren and Katie met at the Midlothian High School prom in 2021 and have been friends ever since. Being able to bond over TopGolf, being major Swifties and being baking queens our friendship has blossomed over the years. While Lauren did college in Tennessee we always found an excuse to have a girls day and hangout when she would be in town. Lauren has encouraged, inspired, and uplifted me whenever I needed someone to talk to. Knowing my love of wedding planning and organization she wonderfully entrusted me to help coordinate her and her husbands big day which I will forever be grateful for. Now we both get to live in North Carolina together having game nights, dinner with our spouses, and many fun future endeavors to come.
Bridesmaid
Madison and Katie met while both working for Altar'd State. While working there they went through some ups and downs together but made it out with a new friend for life. Even during one of the most stressful experiences in Katie's life, she got to go through it with someone by her side. While I would never want to go through an experience like that ever again, I am glad it gave me a friend like you. We have shared some tea while munching down on some rolls at Texas Roadhouse, wandered through the aisles of Barnes and Noble, tanned at the pool, and driven down to Lynchburg so I could finally visit my college. Thank you for sharing you wisdom and guidance during our friendship and going to Hobby Lobby with me when Vasili could not.
Bridesmaid
Aisley and Katie first met over Isabella's bachelorette weekend in Forth Worth. Although we had never met in person until then, when we did it felt as if we had been best friends our whole lives. We share a common love for the Barbie Movie, are major Swifites, and both think that I lived in Tennessee over Virginia. You have encouraged me to expand my music taste and rediscovered my love of concerts. Thank you for welcoming me with open arms and willing to go to Korean BBQ whenever I am in town.
Best Man
Andrew and I have known each other since he was born. We’ve spent countless hours on video games, late-night chats about life, and I’m pretty sure I’ve annoyed him more times than he’d admit but through it all, he’s the perfect choice for my best man.
Groomsman
Dev and I first met our sophomore year at Virginia Tech when we became roommates. Even though we came from different fields of engineering, we still built a lasting friendship full of jokes, debates, and random adventures to 7-11.
Groomsman
Jack and I first met back in 7th grade. We bonded over video games, trampolines, and whatever random internet nonsense made us laugh that day. Somehow, those silly little things built a friendship that’s lasted all these years.
Groomsman
Ryan and I first connected through Katie and Izzy, but our real bond grew over trading cards and endless rounds of putt-putt. From double dates on the mini-golf course to just talking about life, our friendship has grown in ways even Katie and Izzy’s friendship couldn’t have predicted.
Groomsman
Alexander and I met in high school in Mr. Scherer’s engineering class, building bridges both literally and figuratively. From all-nighter game nights to crossing the graduation finish line together, or weekend trips to Boston, New York, or whatever major destination we were thinking that weekend, we’ve seen it all and made memories that will last a lifetime.
