When, where, and dress code for the wedding
Answer
When: June 6th, 2026 with the ceremony starting promptly at 6:30 PM and a cocktail party and reception to follow Where: Museum of Life and Science in Durham North Carolina which is about 20 minutes away from the airport and 10-15 minutes away from hotels. Dress Code: Please join us in your lovely Garden tea party attire. This would be semi-formal attire or dressy casual, being a blend of casual and elegance. Females please wear your dress tea length just below your knees and slightly above the ankle. Gentleman you can wear button ups, khakis, or suits.

We would love all of you to attend our wedding celebration. Please let us know if you would be able to join us by April 25th to provide us ample time to prepare everything for our big day!

Transportation:

We are still working out the details when it comes to transportation to and from the venue. In the meantime you are more than welcome to carpool, Uber, Lyft, or rent a car.

The venue has ample parking right next to the ceremony site that will be lined with photos and signage leading you up the walkway to our seating for the ceremony.

Will there be alcohol at the wedding?
Answer
I know this is a dying question everyone is asking. Yes there will be alcohol provided by our lovely bartenders serving our 21 and over guests. Our staff is going to be there during the cocktail party and reception to provide for your every need.

Are pets allowed?
Answer
While we love our furry friends, with this being a museum with animals there already our furry friends have to stay at home.

Can I Bring a Plus one?
Answer
While we would love to invite them, whoever's name in on the invitation will be the guest invited to the wedding. We would love to see them another time though.

Again, whoever is on the invitation will be the guest invited to the wedding.

What time to arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
With the ceremony promptly starting at 6:30PM we would ask for you to arrive at 6:00Pm to allow extra time to find parking, make yourself familiar with the area, and be able to find a seat to see us walk down the aisle.

What does North Carolina weather look like in June?
Answer
Well that is a great question one might ask. In North Carolina it is typically humid and anywhere in the 80s to 90s. With it being weather most might not be familiar with we will have a designated area for colling off in the AC right next to our reception. We will also have ample water to keep everyone hydrated so we can enjoy our reception with our wonderful DJ.

What else is there to do in town?
Answer
If you are looking for things to do in Durham you can explore downtown, check out the Durham baseball field, check out Duke's campus or take a lovely stroll down any of the wonderful trails. If you are looking to find something in Raleigh there is Pullen Park, the Museum of Art, attend the farmers market, visit downtown Cary Park, or even the Umstead State Park If you are looking for something more Wilmington beach as well as Charlotte are both about 2 and a half hours away.

Is it okay to post photos on social media after the wedding?
Answer
Any photos or video that will be taken we will have an album to share them all to one common place. When it comes to social media we would love to share in the joys with everyone about our big day so we do not mind if you post on social media.

Will there be food?
Answer
Yes we have a lovely catering team that will provide everyone with food during our reception. If there are any dietary needs or restrictions please let us know so we can share that with our team in order for that to need to be taken care of.

What if it rains?
Answer
No worries, rain or shine the wedding will continue on. We have backup plans in case God decides to add a little sprinkle into our day. Our lovely team is there to make sure the day goes smoothly no matter what may come.
