Flight
For those flying in (thank you!), San Francisco or Oakland will be your best bets. They're roughly equidistant from St. Helena (70-80 miles), and will take you 1.5-2 hours to drive, depending on what time you hit the road. Note that travel from SFO requires taking the Bay Bridge (or the Golden Gate, if you prefer the scenic route!), both of which require a toll.

Southbridge is Meadowood's sister hotel, tucked behind the crawling vines covering the buildings of Saint Helena’s Main Street and the tracks of the wine train. The hotel itself is quite modern. You're adjacent to the Charter Oak (Christopher Kostow's latest venture), as well as Merryvale winery and Pizzeria Travigne. The original Gott's Roadside (formerly Taylor's Refresher!) and Farmstead are right across the street. The onsite Health Spa offers an array of treatments, a fitness center, heated lap pool, etc. for those interested. We're holding all 21 rooms; call directly to book. Your room will look out on the adjacent vines; the property also features a pool and communal breakfast room. The El Bonita is a charming and well-loved St. Helena mainstay, located right next to the Vineyard Country Inn and just south of St. Helena's main drag. It is pet friendly, offers some rooms with two double beds, and is the best value to be had in the Valley. El Bonita doesn't offer group blocks; if you're interested in a room, we recommend booking early as they hit full capacity during the extended crush season. $-$$; 2-night minimum.
Travel Note
You'll forgive us for having you read through six options here; given most St. Helena hotels are of the small, boutique variety we wanted to make sure there were enough rooms available for everyone interested in accommodations! A few other notes: - We've prioritized great locations; Lyft / Uber are increasingly available (wait times are typically 5-10-15 minutes), and we'd recommend walking or driving responsibly (it's not uncommon to see several cruisers while you're out) - particularly if you're headed on a tasting adventure. Reminder that on the day of the wedding, shuttles will run between each of the hotels listed on this page and Meadowood. - VRBO / Airbnb options unfortunately tend to be rather limited, and often priced at a premium to the local hotels - but it's worth a look - Please let us know if you're having a difficult time finding accommodations. We're very familiar with a broader option set, and can find something that works for you XO, Katie & Ted
