Pizzeria Tra Vigne
Formerly Tomatina, Tra Vigne's kid sister was Katie's favorite restaurant from ages 10-20 and is now Ted's favorite local pizza haunt. Great for kids!
Napa Valley Vintage Home
Worth a stop if you're in the mood for some Main Street shopping. Specializes in tabletop decor and Wine Country style!
Olivier Napa Valley
Also worth a stop on your shopping adventure. Fill your own olive oil - the 'tastes' will rival Costco at this boutique grocery store.
St. Helena Cyclery
The best local bike shop. Reserve bike rentals ahead of time and this store will deliver bikes to your hotel - and pick them up when you're done! Highway 29 now has a dedicated bike lane for much of the stretch - and it's a great way to get around in late October.
Meadowood Golf Club
We have booked Meadowood's tournament croquet courses (4-6 players / court) and the resident pro for Saturday morning and early afternoon for those who would be keen to take a whack at an updated backyard classic. Check the 'schedule' page for information - and pack your whites! (Note that the golf course will be open until 1pm on Saturday should you wish to book a tee time)
Duckhorn Vineyards
Katie's partial (she spent the best summer of her life working for Carol, Duckhorn's CMO), but the hospitality and juice are par none. Worth making a reservation here - or at sister Paraduxx. Reservations recommended.
Clif Family Winery
Low-key tasting room (you'll be in good company if you're sweaty post-bike ride!) We recommend The Climber and Kit's Killer Cab...and the bruschetta food truck. Reservations accepted but not required.
Round Pond Estate Winery
Stunning property and views of the Valley floor; a Hagey family favorite for 10+ years. Make a reservation to taste the wines - or the olive oil across the street! Reservations recommended.
Martin Estate
One of the more eclectic tasting experiences... Martin Estate was built in the late 1800's and is now owned / operated by Greg and Petra Martin, who give the tours themselves. Greg is a successful auctioneer - and you'll have the chance to see his collection of antiquities...worth a visit! Reservations required.
HALL Rutherford
A stunning vineyard and tasting experience from a family with the Valley's most enviable art collection. Reservations required.
Behrens Family Winery
Worth going for tasting room manager Robin's sass alone. Noteworthy reds with the best label artwork in the business. Reservations required.

A newer boutique winery across the street from the Vineyard Country Inn. Great al fresco tasting experience. Reservations required.
The Prisoner Wine Company
New since last November, this tasting room is inspired by Prisoner's unique aesthetic...you can imagine wines are stored “in bondage” with holders suspended from chains. Reservations recommended.
