France is currently requiring people to show a QR code of their "Pass Sanitaire" to enter public places, such as tourist attractions, restaurants, cafes, and train stations. The process for American's to receive their health pass has been ever evolving. The application process must be followed to a T for your request to be processed. Each person needs to apply from their own email address. https://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/en/coming-to-france/coronavirus-advice-for-foreign-nationals-in-france/coronavirus-statements/article/applying-for-a-covid-certificate-if-you-were-vaccinated-abroad-procedure-for
1. If any part of this makes you uncomfortable or is too large of a financial burden, we still love you if you decide to bow out. 2. The situation abroad is fluid, and it’s hard to predict what additional requirements will crop up with extra international travel (we will be monitoring all that very closely, and will try and provide guidance where possible). 3. Inter-European flights are scheduled more like trains and the prices are more stable, so it could be a fine option to fly into Paris and wait until a later date to book “extra trips” to Germany, Spain, etc. This is our plan right now
Accommodation in the Ardèche is covered. Some, but not all meals and drinks, will be provided (at a minimum a rehearsal dinner, a wedding dinner, and likely a couple of brunches, etc.). Flights to and from France, as well as additional travel expenses (day trips, etc.) will be on you. In terms of our stay, imagine we’re renting a big house for 5 days. We will request that the fridge is stocked with some basics for our arrival, but if you want specific food or drink items, I’d recommend picking them up locally. We will provide some alcohol throughout your stay to keep the house stocked, but we will not be as stocked as an all-inclusive place. As we get closer, I’ll let everyone know what the plan is for keeping wine and liquor stocked in the house.
