Yeah, yeah, we know. The Navy deployed Tanner during the first try, and who could have predicted there would be a global pandemic during the second try? In the meantime, Katie is going to buy stock in stationary from the amount of save/change/invites she has printed these past two years.
Our venue is requiring that all guests either bring proof of vaccination OR a negative test result from within 72 hours of the event. Five Bridge is following MA's Covid guidelines and restrictions. The wedding will be 100% outside-- ceremony out on the lawn, reception under a canopy tent. There are multiple bathrooms, plenty of hand sanitizer, distanced seating. The buffet has been switched to plated dishes. As more information comes out and changes, we will continue to update the information. We know that this information is essential in determining your comfort level in attending, and we want to be as transparent as possible!
We set up the RSVP so that you can quietly step out after the ceremony if that's what you need! Just make sure you RSVP to each event separately. We completely understand.
Yes! When you RSVP, if you wish to attend by Zoom and not in person, please attach your email address for a Zoom link. If you cannot be vaccinated or tested 72 hours in advance before the wedding, we'd love to have you join via Zoom!
It's a post-pandemic world, and Rugburn is playing. No stuffiness allowed.
Katie will be wearing a wedding dress. Tanner is wearing a suit. The rest of the party will be wearing some mix of those things. Think Garden Attire! If you are most comfortable a sweet Hawaiian shirt, go for it! Been thinking about dressing up for a party all spring and now you finally have an excuse? Awesome. Uniforms are welcome, but not expected; none of the service members in the wedding will be in their dress attire. The wedding is being held outdoors, and everyone is recommended to have footwear that works in open lawn and gravel. Don't worry, the reception will be air conditioned!
If you use social media, tag us at #KatiefinallygetsaTann (probably the only tan she'll have this summer!)
There will be plenty of vegetarian (and vegan!) options if you want to join the bride! If not, don't worry, we'll also have meat as well. If you have other dietary restrictions, please note them on your RSVP!
Six.
