Hard Times Trailhead
One of our favorite things to do when we come to Asheville, is hiking! Here is one of the trails we love to do. We recommend wearing comfortable and movable clothing and shoes.
Explorer Loop Trail
Another great hike that we recommend. This one is a bit farther out, but nature is always worth it!
Asheville Museum of Science
The Asheville Museum of Science is Western North Carolina’s home for experiential science learning, discovery, and exploration. AMOS strives to spark the imagination and foster lifelong curiosity. The Asheville Museum of Science is a growing local science museum with interactive, hands-on exhibits for science lovers of all ages!

Great brewery offering lots of different and original beers, foods, etc. Great place to relax and hangout at any time!
Highland Brewing Downtown Taproom
You can get great food, a fantastic beer and sit on the main floor, the mezzanine – with a view of the activity below or a view of the city – or outside in the expanded sidewalk.
