Barceló Maya Palace

The resort is comprised of 6 different sections, and is all-inclusive. The ceremony and reception will all be in the Palace section, where Matt and Katie will be staying. The Palace section is a premium-level section, offering upgraded amenities and restaurants. The Palace section is not adults-only, however there is an adults-only section on the resort if you are interested. Book your room 1 of 3 ways: 1. Room block (recommended!): 18 pool-view rooms in the Palace section have been reserved (link below) 2. Barcelo.com: you can shop your rates via the hotel's website (link below) 3. Any other site/travel agent/service you would like! Just make sure you are searching for the Barcelo Maya Palace in Mexico and not one of their other resorts - they are an international chain!

Room Block Reservations

A room block has been reserved. There are 18 pool-view rooms available. You can click below to reserve your room. A non-refundable deposit in the amount of $250.00/person is required by May 10, 2025, to reserve your room and book your stay. Final payment and balance due date is August 10, 2025. Wedding Group Rates: $331.00 per person per night in Single Occupancy. $196.00 per person per night in Double Occupancy. $172.00 per person per night in Triple Occupancy. $160.00 per person per night in Quadruple Occupancy. $78.00 per night per child (2-12).

If the room block is full, or better prices are available via the hotel's website, please feel free to book your reservation without the room block. The Barcelo's website, or even direct line can sometimes provide better pricing. (800) 227-2356 is the Barcelo's booking hotline.

Flight

Cancun Airport

Cancun is the airport you will book your flight to. Katie and Matt will be flying in on Tuesday, November 4th via Southwest Airlines. As of 2/23/25, flights have not yet been released for these dates. The bridal party (bridesmaids, groomsmen, parents of the bride/groom, etc) is required to arrive no later than Wednesday, November 5th, and all other guests can arrive as late as Thursday, November 6th. Feel free to book your stay as long as you wish! I recommend at least 5 nights!

Rental Car

Kalido Travel - Cancun and the Riviera Maya Transfers and Tours

Kalido is the trusted private shuttle company we have used for 10+ years. This company offers round-trip service, to and from the resort, from the airport, for around $120. When booking, they allow you to choose from a selection of beverages to stock your van for arrival to the resort. You can choose from beer, wine, champagne, seltzers, tequila, spritzers, etc. Enjoy, and make sure to tip your driver. $25-45 each way is appropriate.
