Things To Do

Cenote Cristalino and others

Cenote Cristalino and others

77734 San Jose, Q.R. 77734, Mexico

Several Cenotes are located across the street from the resort. While it is possible to take a cab, it is fairly easy to walk to these - just be careful crossing the highway! The traffic is usually light so there are plenty of opportunities to cross. The cenotes are underwater caves, and offer beautiful sights and snorkeling. They are about $20-25/person for entry and time is unlimited. The closest one is Cristalino, but you can easily keep walking to get to Kantun-Chi Eden, and a couple others.

Ruinas de Tulum

Ruinas de Tulum

Tulum, Q.R. 77780, Mexico

The Tulum ruins are about 20-30 minutes away from the resort. I have a private guide that can provide a day trip to the ruins, and just about anything else you would want to do on an excursion. The link posted is to his website and his name is Joel Ramirez Leyva. His team is FANTASTIC.

Dressel Divers Puerto Aventuras / Dive Shop - Dive Center

Dressel Divers Puerto Aventuras / Dive Shop - Dive Center

Xpu Ha, Q.R. 77750, Mexico

The dive shop on site at resort is a fabulous source for catamaran rides, fishing tours, and snorkeling/scuba excursions! You can reach them ahead of time to schedule something, or meet them on-site by the dock. They can also provide water sport activities like water trikes, jet skis, etc. P.S. Wahoo will be in season!

Sea Turtle Snorkeling

Sea Turtle Snorkeling

Straight out from the Jaguar statue, you’ll find some fabulous snorkeling. Sea turtles LOVE the cove in this area, and are attracted to yellow - so don’t wear it in the water. The turtles will swim right up to you so be ready for an up-close and personal experience! There are also manta rays, barracudas, and thousands of other cool species to see. Best part? IT’S FREE!
