Local Breweries
There are tons of local craft breweries in SoCal, but some of our favorites are just off the PCH. Ballast Point, in Long Beach, is by far our favorite, with an amazing 2-story indoor/outdoor setup right on the jetty. Soak in the sun and enjoy a crisp beer while watching all the boats. Golden Road just recently opened a new location in Huntington Beach and they are an easy favorite for beers and good vibes!
Crystal Cove
This is one of our favorite spots to go and it's where we got engaged :) There's lot to do at Crystal Cove. You can grab food and drinks down at The Beachcomber, a beach side restaurant. You should also check out the Shake Shack on PCH for our favorite milkshake and great views. We always like to take a walk along the beach and explore the tide pools during low tide.
Fashion Island
A really nice outdoor mall with plenty of shopping and a ton of different cafes and restaurants.
Irvine Spectrum Center
This is another great outdoor shopping center not far from the beach. There are plenty of shops and restaurants as well as a small comedy club, where we had one of our first dates.
