We know you will all look great in whatever you decide to wear! We've decided "cocktail attire" best fits the dress code we have in mind for the ceremony and reception. We're thinking jackets and ties and dresses of any length (floor length, midi, mini) would be great. The reception will be in a tent outside, so check the weather to determine if you need any extra layer in the evening or not! The tent has a wood floor and there are sidewalks rather than a grass flood, so heels will work!
We recommend driving to the ceremony; there is plenty of parking in the church parking lot. For any guests staying in Egg Harbor not staying at the Alpine, we will be providing transportation home to anyone in the Egg Harbor area from about 10:30pm-1:30am. If you plan to use this service, we recommend 1) getting a ride to the reception (let us know if you need help finding a ride!) or 2) driving your car to the reception and leaving it overnight. You can then get a ride to your car in the morning or walk to it! Please let us know if you need help planning transportation. There is parking available at the Alpine. There are not many Ubers in Door County, so it's possible you would need to wait a bit for them to get to you if you want to use that service. Most places are within 15 minutes walking distance if you're up for a walk, but there are some hills! The bar at the Alpine will be open from 11-1 for drinks after the reception, so no need to get to another location for that.
