What about the ceremony?

Answer

Josh and Katie have chosen to have the ceremony privately with only immediate family members present. We can't wait to celebrate with you at the reception!

Are children (under 18) invited?

Answer

Please celebrate with us at an adults-only reception. Although we love your little ones, this is an adult only affair.

Question

Will there be an after party?

Answer

There will indeed be an after party, and fortunately, it will be at the same location as the reception! There is a noise ordinance starting at 10pm however, so the after party will move inside starting immediately after the reception.

What do we wear?

Answer

Please dress semi-formally/dressy casual. We want you to be comfortable dancing while looking your best for photographs! For the ladies-there will be stones and uneven flooring since it is outside. Save your heels for another occasion, we don’t want you to hurt yourself! (A chunky, low heel may be ok)

Shuttles?

Answer

There will be shuttles to/from the Holiday Inn Express. Please arrive outside 10 minutes before scheduled times below. Shuttle schedule: 4:30pm 5:00pm 5:30pm if needed- however- if you take this latest shuttle you’ll miss welcome festivities at the venue. Leaving venue to go back to hotel: 10:00pm first pick up Running every 30 minutes until last shuttle at 12:30am.

Why didn't I have to choose a meal when I submitted my RSVP?

Answer

We will have a variety of different types of food for appetizers. For the main course there will be a pig roast to combine American and Ecuadorian culture. There will be traditional American sides and traditional Ecuadorian sides for the pig roast. Food will be served buffet style, the DJ will call you up by your table number. Please let Katie or Josh know if you have specific allergies or concerns about dinner. And of course, there will be a dessert bar for later on.
