What about the ceremony?

Answer

Josh and Katie have chosen to have the ceremony privately with only immediate family members present. We can't wait to celebrate with you at the reception!

Are children (under 18) invited?

Answer

Please celebrate with us at an adults-only reception. Although we love your little ones, this is an adult only affair.

Will there be an after party?

Answer

There will indeed be an after party, and fortunately, it will be at the same location as the reception! There is a noise ordinance starting at 10pm however, so the after party will move inside starting immediately after the reception.

What do we wear?

Answer

Please dress semi-formally/dressy casual. We want you to be comfortable dancing while looking your best for photographs! For the ladies-there will be stones and uneven flooring since it is outside. Save your heels for another occasion, we don’t want you to hurt yourself! (A chunky, low heel may be ok)

Why didn't I have to choose a meal when I submitted my RSVP?

Answer

We will have a variety of different types of food for appetizers. For the main course there will be a pig roast to combine American and Ecuadorian culture. There will be traditional American sides and traditional Ecuadorian sides for the pig roast. There will not be assigned seating, we want you all to mix and mingle. Food will be served buffet style for an hour and a half, so you can choose to go grab dinner whenever you are ready. Please let Katie or Josh know if you have specific allergies or concerns about dinner. And of course, there will be a dessert bar for later on.
