Sam is Katie’s brother. While the two didn’t get along well as children, they’ve managed to pull it together in adulthood! These two love bonding over plants & animals, old video games, and weird, random information. While Sam is full of unflattering nicknames and commentary for Katie, it’s all brotherly love. ❤️
Nicole Ohlinger
Matron of Honor
Nicole and Katie met in jail. Well, sort of. Nicole was working for a nonprofit organization that was affiliated with the Berks County Jail and Katie interned there in college. They shared lots of good times in Nicole’s cubicle color-coding her calendar… the rest is history.
Gabby Kudla

Gabby and Katie met at the gym around 2017. Gabby worked at the juice bar and notoriously distracted Katie from her session with her trainer at the time (who is now Gabby’s husband). Great bonds come from City Fitness in Northern Liberties.
Katelyn McKillop

Katelyn was Katie’s first roommate when she moved to Philadelphia in 2015. They bonded strongly despite mice in the apartment, being in a dicey area, having conflicting sports teams, and Katie bringing a cat into the house. The two Kate’s are a dynamic duo.
Rachel Brookland
Bridesmaid
Rachel and Katie met in their master’s program at PCOM in 2015. They bonded over many graduate school struggles and managed to make it into the PsyD program together. Suffering through the entirety of grad school together is a bond like no other. They coped through bopping around the streets of Philadelphia, going to happy hours, and eating. She is a member of the notorious “Top 8!”
Malti McKinnon

Malti and Katie also met at City Fitness! Malti was one of Katie’s trainers for a period of time. Katie and Malti bond over a love for cats, beer pong, spending too much of their adulthood in school, and Pitbull. One of Katie’s favorite facts about Malti is that she has a niche for birds. If you see her at the wedding, feel free to spark up a conversation about our feathered friends.
Mikaela Davie

Mikaela and Katie met through City Fitness as well! The two bond over music, loving their dogs, and a love for Friendsgiving. Mikaela makes the best espresso martini and might be Katie’s favorite person to go to bottomless brunch with.
Teal Hensel

Teal is Katie’s cousin! Teal married Katie’s cousin Devon a few years back. Teal and Katie’s friendship grew while they both lived in Philadelphia. Teal kindly allowed Katie to practice psychological testing on her during grad school. Some of their best memories include drinking on Cider Sundays and watching The Birds.

Kelce, Katie's Mom & Dad's dog, joined the pup crew with Ghost and Luna over the past year. Kelce was quickly welcomed into the family and can't wait to be a flower girl with Luna!

Though you won’t be able to see him, not because he is an actual ghost, but because Ghost will be our ring bearer during our private ceremony.
Matt Castro

Matt is Josh's younger brother. They held the typical older and younger brother relationship. Even though Matt is 7 years younger, he has dealt with all of Josh's annoyances growing up, nothing a slap-shot to the face with a hockey stick won't fix. Nowadays they share love for the eagles (go birds), EDM music, and hanging with family.
Greg Conlin
Best Man
Greg and Josh met during their 7th grade orientation. While helping each other figure out how to open their lockers, they bonded over music, classes, and sharing intel on their elementary school crushes. Over the years, Greg and Josh experienced various life moments together. Greg and his wife were even there when Katie and Josh got engaged! They were in a band in middle school, nearly got in trouble at high school parties, held great times when Josh visited Greg at Temple University, and had many great moments as adults with their respective partners.
Jamey Minnemeyer

Josh and Jamey's friendship began in high school, where they bonded over music, sports, parties, and nights at fellowship park with friends. During their early 20's their weekend routine involved hanging in Jamey's parents basement then going out in town with friends. Eventually, they became roommates which brought all of their similar interests and friends under one roof. They enjoyed hosting their annual Christmas party, and their long talks on the roof, and even taking care of each other during drunken stupors. Josh, Jamey, and their significant others all enjoy spending time together, watching sports and tailgating for their favorite Philly teams.
Tyler Flagler

Tyler and Josh met in high school and immediately became friends, as they had multiple freestyle battles, body boxed, and shared a common interest in joining the military. They kept in touch during Josh's time home and became even closer friends. Tyler and Josh enjoy spending time together to this day, laughing about their fun-filled pasts, spending time in a group with their significant others, and motivating each other with business ideas.
Alex Acciani

Alex and Josh met after he got out of the military and realized they had several mutual connections. They attended multiple music festivals and eventually became roommates. Their shared energy and passion for starting business ventures have kept them connected to this day.
Kumar Patel

Josh and Kumar met at the gym (swole buddies) and quickly realized they had the same musical interests, amongst other things. As Kumar had recently moved from Utah and attended Arcadia university in Glenside, where Josh lived at the time, they quickly formed a bond and shared many great memories. Now they enjoy snowboarding trips and weekends in the city.
José Erazo

Josh and Jose have been friends since they were in elementary school. Jose had moved away to Florida. They reconnected during a spontaneous Atlantic City trip where Jose, Alex, and Josh had a great time together. Eventually they all started seeing each other more as trips were planned to Florida every year.
