While we were checking everything out in May, we ate here.... more than once because it was so good! Has burgers, sandwiches, salads, craft beer & cocktails and a nice atmosphere!

Gristmill River Restaurant & Bar

Gristmill River Restaurant & Bar

1287 Gruene Road, New Braunfels, TX 78130

We also ate here when we were in town in May! Lots of good options! Located right on the Guadalupe River, under the Gruene water tower, and right next to Gruene Hall. We would highly recommend.

San Antonio River Walk

San Antonio River Walk

San Antonio River Walk, San Antonio, TX 78214

The San Antonio Riverwalk is about a 35 minute drive from the WunderCove property in San Antonio. It is one of the most popular things to do in San Antonio. There are many restaurants, bars, and shops lining the river path. Lots of live music and a great atmosphere... just don't fall in the river!

The Alamo

The Alamo

300 Alamo Plaza, San Antonio, TX 78205
, (210) 225-1391

If you go to the Riverwalk, I highly recommend taking a small detour to the Alamo to learn about Davy Crockett and Texas winning its independence from Mexico.

Gruene Hall

Gruene Hall

1281 Gruene Road, New Braunfels, TX 78130
, (830) 606-1281

Gruene District which is located about 15 minutes from the WunderCove property and is a must while in New Braunfels. Gruene Hall is the oldest dance hall in Texas and has a schedule for live music on their website! The street is full of restaurants, bars, and shopping with live musicians.

Schlitterbahn Waterpark

Schlitterbahn Waterpark

400 North Liberty Avenue, New Braunfels, TX 78130
, (830) 625-2351

Cool off at the Schlitterbahn Waterpark!

Corner Tubes

Corner Tubes

120 South Liberty Street, New Braunfels, TX 78130
, (830) 626-6687

Another way to cool off is to rent a tube & float the Guadalupe River. You can pay $20 to rent a tube for one float down the river (round-trip shuttle pass included) or you can pay $25 to rent a tube to float down the river as many times as you would like! The float is suppose to take about an hour and a half to two hours depending on the rivers flow! There are many companies in the area that offer rental tubes! Please feel free to use any of them!

For all the days along the way
