Joseph Thompson Uhl was born in Aurora, Colorado in August of 1993. He grew up in the Denver area until 2010 when he moved to Prescott, AZ. Joe graduated in 2012 from Prescott High School and attended University of Arizona for a year before completing his degree at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Katie Jo Bradstreet was born in Prescott, Arizona in August of 1996. She grew up in Prescott and graduated in 2014 from Prescott High School and attended Arizona State University for 4 years. Joe and Katie met in Tempe, Arizona in January 2019 while Joe was working in Scottsdale and Katie was teaching in Prescott. They were both out with groups of their own friends and were introduced through mutual friends within the groups. Although they graduated from the same high school, they did not know each other. In the spring and summer of 2019, Katie and Joe would see each other on the weekends when Katie would go to visit friends in Phoenix. Once Katie relocated to Mesa in July of 2019 to teach in the Chandler School District, Katie and Joe started officially dating. Katie and Joe enjoyed many exciting outings together before the COVID pandemic. They went to ASU football games, Phoenix Suns basketball games, spring training baseball games, concerts, bars & restaurants together. They spent much of the COVID quarantine slowing things down together. They started enjoying having game nights with friends and spending time outside doing things like camping. They both have a passion for traveling and have had the opportunity to travel to San Diego and Boston together. In November of 2020, Joe and Katie moved in together and soon after adopted their Golden doodle puppy, Harlee. They have enjoyed building their lives together and spending every day by each other's side. On Valentine's Day in 2021 during Katie & Joe's Cathedral Rock hike in Sedona, Joe proposed to Katie and she said yes!
